NO-ONE will get left behind, im on a cub 70 that barely does 50mph
there is a back up van that will be last, and all corners are marked by a marshall until last rider passes, then they head off to next corner to do same, MASSIVE THANKS TO STEERA'S POSSEE FOR MARSHALLING THIS YEAR..

Look forward to meeting you an the wife and hope you have a good weekend out with us

Nick

Nick, Barely 50mph? when we went up PORTWAY and down to Stow i was doing 70mph on the stow road and you were in front of me, Unless it was my TING-TONG Speedo playing up again!

But yeah no-one will be left behind!

I've been out in the car today, and the Sunday run is now sorted. I'll sort out photocopies in case we loose anyone, but the basic route is as follows:-

- Leave Cropthorne between 10.30am and 11.00am
- Through some of the local villages on the way to Cheltenham
- Through the centre of Cheltenham and on to Stroud
- Stop for lunch in Cirencester (with a choice of Greasy Joes, McDonalds or Tesco, or ride round the corner to the town centre)
- Into Stow on the Wold, then Moreton in Marsh (with a possible stop for an ice cream, wander etc)
- Through Chipping Campden and back to Cropthorne.

Total distance is about 100 miles.

All the best

I'm looking forward to the Stroud to Cirencester road as well. I've done it twice recently in the car, are there are some cracking twisties which should be good on the bike!

Fingers crossed for good weather.

All the best

no its just a pub... if the girls get desperate my house is only a few miles away and im sure I can spare some hot water (long as they dont mind dogs lol)

there is a local caravan park (dont know if they do tents) or they can wash their hair in the toilets as there are sinks in there.. ill speak to Annie an Andy this afternoon when I go to mow the field and see what they can think of

B+B . . . . no joy so far

Postby rottie » Mon Aug 02, 2010 11:08 pm

I have been looking at local B+B for people and to be honest I thought I had found a great solution, our local Premier Inn.. but they have no vacancies for that weekend :(

sorry guys... its looking to be camping or paying 50 odd quid a night for the local overpriced B+B establishments..

Ill keep looking though and update on here accordingly.. BEFORE the weekend
