Air mix screw should be one and a half to two turns out if your jetting is correct. To check and adjust this setting you should start and warm up the bike. When bike is at operating temperature set the air mix screw one and half turns out from fully in then slowly adjust air mix screw in or out and engine revs should pick up and sound smoother. If for instance you turn it a sixteenth of a turn out and the revs pick up adjust the throttle stop screw back to a smooth tick over and try adjusting the mixture screw out another sixteenth of a turn and see if the revs still rise. Re adjust tick over if it does and repeat this process until revs stop rising. When you reach this point then just turn the mixture screw back by the last adjustment. If this all sounds too complicated phone me on 07578 091255 and I will give you a crash course in the black art of carb tuning.

Cheers Eric
